Preview: The Monster Underneath by WhiteRoseMarie Preview: The Monster Underneath by WhiteRoseMarie
Now for something completely different. Here's a preview of something I'm working on in Drawing I at school. It's a collaborative piece, and this is just a small part of my own piece. The full part of my piece is somewhere around 33 inches by 22 inches xD Which I'll show later. But I like this big guy and thought I'd share him to show you all that I'm still alive.

. . .On another note, I miss the old Submit page. ._. This one feels weird.

I agree that this animal looks very sinister. I think you have gained more experience since starting art class, and it definitely shows in your work. But, here comes some critique, hopefully it doesn't sound harsh.
1) The tongue seems to be larger than it would in reality. If the piece you're creating is for the animal to look fierce and feral, than the tongue fits.
2) It also seems to be attached to the side of the mouth, rather than twisting from the middle and edging out of the mouth.
That's basically all I noticed that might be a little off. If you are able to work on the tongue and fix the minor flaws, I believe your drawing will be a success.
What do you think?

Very well done, Rose, the forked tongue adds a sinister look to him.

;w; Thanks. I was a bit unsure at first about the tongue being split, but I think it definately plays up the sinister darkness of this creature from the abyss. It even takes away the relateability - we don't think of it as a wolf, German Sheperd nor cat, all of which I've used as references in creating him overall. xD <3 ;w; Thank you!
